What It Is?

Aloe vera is a succulent plant species. It is botanically known as Aloe Barbadensis. It’s 99.5% water and a water-binding agent for skin due to its polysaccharide and sterol content. It is also an excellent treatment for skin conditions such as burns and eczema. It regulates the immune system and produces at least six natural antiseptics; which are able to kill mold, bacteria, funguses, and viruses.

Why We Added It To Our 1A All-Day Mask?

Aloe Vera is moisturising for the skin and is easily absorbed. It is topically used to heal wounds and relief allergic reactions and orally as a laxative. It also treats burns, banish black and blue bruises and soothe sunburns quickly (Aloe cools the skin down because it has similar properties to menthol). It can also prevent scarring, stretch marks, pimples and treats acne and eczema.

Additionally, brighten skin, decrease pigmentation and dark spots. Aloe Vera soothes, conditions, calms, and cools the skin whilst its anti-inflammatory properties help to relieve irritation. It has powerful healing, soothing and moisturising properties, which is why we love it!
